Andrea and James held their beautiful wedding at Phipps Mansion in Denver.. a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with perfect end-of-summer weather. I love this location - the mansion was built in the 30's so we took advantage of the amazing architecture and gorgeous grounds.. it made for some fabulous photo opps! Laura and Nick ~ September 15th

Laura and Nick got married this weekend at The Pines at Genesee in Golden near Lookout Mountain. Their outdoor early evening wedding ceremony was perfect.. a couple of deer (maybe elk?) even wandered close during the ceremony!

Whenever I have a couple that wants to see each other before the ceremony, I make sure we have a chance to document that moment - as I did here with Laura and Nick. I love these shots where they first saw each other..
and during the ceremony..It was such a wonderful day - thank you so much for having me be a part of capturing it!

Courtney and John ~ engaged!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I have the most AMAZING clients!! I was thrilled when Courtney and John approached me with the concept for their e-session - they wanted to do a retro 1950's-style shoot. They wanted something fun and campy - something indicative of their backgrounds in theater. They are so hilarious - I think I giggled throughout most of the session! Here are a couple of my faves..

workshop!

I try to take advantage of every opportunity I get to further my education by enrolling in photography seminars and workshops... And when an amazing photographer like David Beckstead comes to town, how can I possibly say no??
A few weeks ago, 12 other photographers joined David in Denver for a 1 1/2 day shooting workshop.. on one of the hottest days all summer! Despite the heat, we were able to get amazing shots of our models. Here are a few of mine:

Peyton Grace!

I was so honored when Abbi and Cory (whose wedding I shot last fall) called to ask me to photograph their brand new baby girl! It was SO wonderful to see the two of them as doting parents.. and baby Peyton was all smiles! Here are a couple of my faves from our session..~Autumn

Renee and Bill ~ September 1st

Another weekend in the mountains! Renee and Bill celebrated a gorgeous Labor Day Weekend in style at the Donovan Pavillion in Vail. I love that first shot of Renee peeking out before the ceremony - she was so excited!
