Molly and Levi - we will!!!

I love shooting engagement sessions - it's why I include a complimentary e-session in every wedding package. Engagement sessions give me a chance to get to know my clients better, and it gives all of us a chance to work together before the wedding.

So here's Molly and Levi - we took advantage of the lull in winter weather to do their e-session. They are so much fun - constantly laughing together and joking around! The laughter and playfulness is such a huge part of their relationship (if you ever meet them, ask them about 'the bet'!) Here are a few of my faves..

It's that time of year where I go through my 2007 weddings to pick out some of my favorites.. and I thought I'd start it off with CAKE. Wedding cake is a work of art - and I have seen some amazing (and delicious!) creations. I love the elegant and the whimsical, the vibrant and the subdued.. As someone who very clearly did NOT descend from Julia Child, I am in awe of the skill that it takes.

Sunday at Red Rocks

Yesterday I took advantage of our 60+ degree weather (!) and had the opportunity to join a a bunch of other photographers shooting up at Red Rocks (there were at least 40 of us!) It was all part of the inauguration of the Innovative Imagemakers' Camera Road Trip - and what a perfect way to spend a glorious Colorado day!

As you can see, we had some wonderful high school models who were pretty much game for anything! Here are a few..
